(1) Develop your personal home page for this course. At the minimum, you should include the following:

a link to your solution to Homework #1. In the future, a link to every submitted homework should be added one week after the due date, and
a link to a simple personal resume of you.

Open a free web hosting account in GeoCities and upload your resume to it. Include a link from your home page at dcm.cl.uh.edu to your resume page in GeoCities.

Your personal resume page should look professional and can actually be used for job searching. (35%)

(2) Consider the following dictionary file: words.txt, which contains one word per line. Write a Perl program to list all words that are also words if the last character is removed. Running your program should output the following. Note that words are case insensitive and you should print in lower case. (35%)

(3) Consider the following XML file: news.xml. Write a Perl command statement to print the document url and harvest time of each news item per line. A full Perl program is not acceptable. Output format for using news.xml should be the same as below. Note the uses of ':' and '.'. (30%)
