Some Utilities and Software

This is a collection of some assorted utilities I wrote, mostly oriented to the Web.

General Web-based Utilities

• secomp.pl: compare the search results of two user selected search engines side by side (1/6/2006).
• openSearch.pl: a meta-search engine showing results from several search engines simultaneously (1/6/2006)
• openDict.pl: a meta-dictionary showing results from multiple sources (1/6/2006).
• uhclmap.html: A very primitive Google map on four UHCL buildings, for me to play with Google Map API and AJAX (1/6/2006).
• timer.html: a simple timer for use in examinations, very old code.
• whois.pl: finding out the information about domain names (old code not effective now).
• HTTPResponse.pl: display full HTTP response from an URL.
• HTTPRequest.html: display full HTTP request.
