The following is the collection of material I presented on September 29, 2003.

command.txt: some Perl command line programs I demonstrated.
phone1.pl: creating and printing the hash used for finding meaningful words for a 7 digit phone number. The Unix's words file I used.
phone2.pl: command line program to find meaningful words for a 7 digit phone number. I have added the fix for an error I challenged you to find out in the class. See whether you can spot it.
phone.pl: A barebone CGI perl version. Try 225-5288, 265-5328 and 283-3256, for example. This is not optimized at all, so be patient. Source code.
