The focus of this project is to build a web based prototype in order to view the interest points surrounding the selected place located in Texas using Google maps, wikipedia and other similiar resources. A user can select a place to view all the interesting area around the place. All the results are viewed by the users through Google maps.When the mouse is moved over a particular point a pop - up box showing information appears including a link to the wikipedia article related to that particular spot.
