| MiniCheck-OCR, Inc has developed a suite of applications known as the *MiniCheck MGR™. The *MiniCheck MGR™ is a revolutionary new front-end application for electronically processing checks and validating IDs at the point-of-sale. Using the *MiniCheck MGR™ will enable merchants of all sizes to handle checks more efficiently and more cost effectively. At the point-of-sale, the *MiniCheck MGR™ provides the ability to validate a photo ID such as a drivers license in order to prevent losses due to fraud. This ID validation is done using a set of advanced algorithms to decipher the electronically encoded data in either the magnetic strip or barcode located on the ID itself. An image of a photo ID can then be captured at the point-of-sale and stored within the record archive maintained by the financial institution or service provider. The *MiniCheck MGR™ combines both MICR and OCR technology to provide a robust feature set not available anywhere else. The ability to read the full MICR line information from the bottom of a check using Magnetic Imaging Character Recognition while at the same time capturing the customers’ personal information using Optical Character Recognition is unique to the *MiniCheck MGR™ . This information is placed into a user-accessible data base that allows the user to search the data base and generate targeted mailing lists in a matter of seconds. The *MiniCheck MGR™ offers pre-integration to the most popular check reader-imaging devices on the market as well as the major service providers like TeleCheck. This pre-integration makes setting up check processing services far easier and quicker than any other solution on the market today. |
